Finished COR upgrades! Got AF2 hat ready for sunday, too, but it’s just whitebox:

Popped some JoLs and somehow accidentally duped… a Love Halberd. We had the main DD party kick the other 2 parties to minimize EXP loss from AV, but after we were kicked, we could still see party chat, and got an extra halberd in our pool without having claim… GG SE, love your ability to fix these things.

Seriously? Augments from FoV kinda fucking suck. Will probably keep doing them though, just because it’s decent EXP buffer and I might get lucky with a free triumph or something. Augments from ANNM look like they can be pretty nice… need to start spamming that 3x per day. Still pretty sad that we can’t choose augments on anything other than expansion rewards. It would probably fuck the economy even worse if we could choose, I guess. At least crafters might profit from selling low-level shit again after everyone ruins their current gear with wind resist+

WHM updates were nice, but we knew about those. Esuna can’t erase amnesia, which fails. RDM updates were lol, but we knew that. At least the new JA is kinda nice for self-enhancing. SMN bug updates… m’k, whatever. Those aren’t “additions”. Nothing for BLM again, of course. Cue incessant “omg quit whining you were good in 2004″ from the SAMs and PLDs.

Coming patch looks pretty decent. I’m glad they finally addressed the issue with WHM not getting aoe erases and made a bunch of scholars butthurt. Hopefully we get BLM update info this week! Mini-expansion will probably be crap but meh… Quick Draw recast-5 MAB+4 AGI+5 body is sexy.

Oh, someone asked me how to solo first Xarca extend, so here’s a screen of the angle you need to approach from. Need good but not uber gear to one-shot it. The two closest eyes will link, but the rest of the mobs will stay passive if you nuke from the correct position. Need to run in and go, can’t wait or they’ll rape you.

Finally started new salvage set! It’s going awesome so far. Only on our first few rounds of each zone and almost full clearing, as opposed to last set where people couldn’t tell their heads from their arses on the 30th time through a zone. Looks like this will turn out well!
